Mr. Rudolph John Filippello's Obituary
FILIPPELLO, Rudolph John, 72 , a native of Tampa passed away on September 11, 2010 surrounded by his family. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1956 and attended the University of Tampa. He worked at Sears and then proudly served his country as an artillery Sergeant in the US Army National Guard. He was employed as a lab technician at the Anheuser Busch Brewery for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend he is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Margaret; his daughter, Kristina; grandchildren, J.R., Giovanna, Cross; sister, Eleanor Morrison (Jack); brother, Peter Filippello (Faye);brother-in-law, Nick DiMaggio Jr; nieces and nephews, VeeAnn DiMaggio Mahdieh (Amir) and their children, Camille, Devan, Samira, and Nima, Nick DiMaggio III, Michael Fillippello (Jin), Peter Filippello III, Aaron Morrison, Adelyne Folkers (Deron) , godmother Vickie Scolaro , godchildren, cousins and many special friends. A funeral Mass will be offered at 12:30pm on Thursday at St Lawrence Catholic Church with Monsignor Laurence Higgins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11am-12:30pm
