Rose Marie Ranon's Obituary
Ranon, Rose Marie Minardi
left her mortal life on Earth on February 27, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She was the beloved daughter of Sam and Carmelina Minardi who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Joe A. Ranon; her sister, Antoinette Giovinco; and a precious infant granddaughter, Stefanie Colelli.
Rose Marie was a teacher by profession and served on the faculty of H.B. Plant High School for 30 years until her retirement in 1986. In addition to teaching Business Education in the classroom, she also served as Head of the Business Education Department for several years as well as Vocational Education Counselor.
She is survived by her children, Joe A. Ranon Jr. and his wife, Alice; her daughter, Sandra Ranon Colelli and her husband, Frank. She also had three grandchildren, Andrea Ranon Henderson (Ben), Nicholas F. Colelli, and Joseph Ranon III (Regina). In addition to her grandchildren, she leaves behind six great-grandchildren, Benjamin Henderson Jr., Alicia Henderson, Julianna Henderson, Samuel Henderson, Anthony Ranon, and Arya Ranon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive family and friends two hours before the funeral service which will be held at 12 o' clock on Monday, March 10, at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. Interment will take place at Myrtle Hill Cemetery where she will be placed beside her one and only love, her husband.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
