I am very sorry for the loss of Rose. I will continue to pray for the family and friends who lost her. She will be missed
To Dino and the entire Mirabal Family our hearts are heavy and sadden with the loss of such a loving and caring person. We have so many beautiful memories of Rose. One I would like to share is her love for family. Over the years at many family "get togethers" Rose would be there and she would give you a big hug and kiss. With a loving smile on her face she would always ask about you, your family and how were things going in your life. She made you feel special and loved. She asked because she really did care. She was the one who was special. She touched many peoples lives including ours. We love you Rose. You and your beautiful family are in our prayers. Love Jimmy and Cheryl
To the Mirabals and everyone who loved Rose,
We are so sorry for the passing of such a wonderful and loving person. I can only express my thankfulness for the kindness she showed to Paul and Dorsey and to my father, Paul, when he was with us. With love to the entire family.
What can you say of the person who showed you how to always say "I love you" and embrace you with a hug? When our family moved to Tampa 36 years ago, this practice was not customary, as I came from a non-demonstrative family. But through Rose's example, hugging is as normal as breathing.
Rose and Blackie gave us the most wonderful son-in-law (Dino). Rose had a huge generous heart, always praying for our family. And just since her passing, I learned she was "monetarily" generous as well! (Recipients had been sworn to secrecy.) Heaven has gained another Angel, and I know you'll still be watching over us. You touched our lives and we have been so blessed. We love you, Rose... Mary Blair and John Peterson
To my Mirabal Family, my prayers are with each and every one of you at this time. I hope that my love for Rose will help carry you through this difficult time. I wish I could be there to comfort all of you. Know that I will keep all of you in my prayers. I will miss you, My Beautiful Rose... Your loving friend, Will
To Sis, Dino, Blair, Dino Jr.,Blackie, Paulette, Goody and Nicole... Words.. I am without the proper words to describe what Rose meant to me all these years. A friend, a mom, a grandmother to Paul. I remember asking her years ago, that since Paul never met Tony's mom, would she be his grandmother; and of course she said YES. Her "prayer list" she reminded me always-that I was always at the top. She has remained on the top of mine. I remember stopping by "the shop" for visits just to say hello throughout the years..she always showing me off to "her girls".. I miss her..
You are all in my prayers today..Love, Dorsey
To Dino and all the Mirabals- No words can fill the void that is left by such a wonderful person. Rose you will be missed by many and so loved by all of us! One of my fondest memories of Rose was at her home on just one of our many Christmas Eve dinner celebrations. Rose took both of her hands and squeezed my cheek and told me how much she loved me and how happy she was to have our family there! It was a simple jester and I will remember it always. God Bless
