Rose V Baxley's Obituary
BAXLEY, Rosina (Rose) Valenti, 86, was born in Ybor City, July 20, 1929 and passed away in Tampa on May 14, 2016. Rose was a member of the Eastern Star, worked at the USF registrars' office, and was a switchboard operator at Centro Asturiano Hospital. She loved to bowl and she and John kept score for the WIBC across many of the states. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; Guiseppe (Joseph) and Angelina (nee Guarino) Valenti, her son Dwight James Martin, her three sisters and two of her brothers. Rose is survived by her husband, John H. Baxley, 2 daughters; Deborah Martin Frazier and Rhonda Martin McQuaid (Wes), her brother Joseph Valenti, Jr. of Indian Rocks Beach, 2 grandsons; Ryan Frazier and Brandon McQuaid,one granddaughter Brittany McQuaid, five step children, and their families, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.Special thanks to niece Diane Yates and caretaker Gabriella. It was Rose's wish that her remains be donated to the University of Florida Medical Center for Medical Research. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, please donate to the charity of your choice in Rose's name.
