Mrs. Rosa Yanez Hevia's Obituary
HEVIA, Rosa Yanez, 91, of Arlington Heights, IL, formerly of Tampa, passed away on May 24, 2010 with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Manuel L. Hevia, Sr., and her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Vilma and James Tucker; brother, Adrian Cali and sister, Elizabeth Yanez. Rosa and Manuel owned Hevia's Flower Boutique on Waters Ave in Tampa, FL. She was also a cigar maker in Ybor City. They belonged to Epiphany of Our Lord, were members of Centro Asturiano, Centro Espanol, Sons of Italy, German American Club, and VFW Club. Rosa is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Wagner (Dennis); son, Manuel L. Hevia, Jr., (fiance Lourdes); brother, Max Yanez (Edna); sister, Inez Vigil, eight grandchildren: Cristina Anderson (Clay), Carmen Hoffman (Scott), Dennis Wagner, Jr. (Alexis Ulankiewicz) Andrea Rominger (Atticus), Manuel John Hevia (fiance Dionne Webster, Jacob), Aaron Dowd, Jr., Brent Hevia (Melissa) and Denise Collier (Benjamin) , eleven great grandchildren: Lauren Rose, Morgan and Brooke Hoffman, Clara, Phoebe and Etta Rominger, Adam and Bryce Hevia, Elliott, Elaine and Cecelia Anderson and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 7 to 9PM. A Funeral Mass for the repose of Rosa's soul will be celebrated at 11AM on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Epiphany of Our Lord (2510 E. Hanna Ave.).
