Roland M Parsons Sr.'s Obituary
Roland M. Parsons Sr. of Bradenton, FL succumbed to a long illness on Monday January 29th 2024.
Ron was born on August 25th, 1949 in Gloucester, Ma to Jean Hubbard and Otis Parsons.
After graduation he enlisted in the US Airforce where he proudly served for four years.
He worked for Parker Brothers' Toys in Beverly, Ma for over 20 years as a machinist until they closed.
Ron later moved to Florida to enjoy the warm weather and live out the rest of his life.
With his easy going personality and charm, it didn't take long for him to gain many new acquaintances and meet his long term friends in Bradenton. He enjoyed spending Sundays at Gulf Coast Church In Bradenton with one of his best friends and his family. Ron's hobbies included reading, swimming, flying his drones, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friends, joking and laughing.
Ron will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ron was predeceased by his son, Roland M Parsons Jr. He is survived by his son Samuel Parsons, daughter Felicia McKinnon, his son-in-law, Joel McKinnon and his sister, Laurine Michaud, all of Gloucester, MA.
