Roger L. Wallace's Obituary
WALLACE, Roger L, a Tampa native, died peacefully with his wife of 42 years at his side on Saturday, February 08, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Kitty, his brother Tom (Helen), his daughters, Ellen (Skip) Baxley, Karen (Ryan) Smith, and son, Jason (Kirsten) Wallace and seven grandchildren. A "country boy", Roger was a graduate of Brandon HS, served in the Air Force, graduated from USF and FSU. He spent his career as a marriage and family counselor. A dedicated Seminole fan, his hobbies included fishing, blacksmithing, and designing and making knives. Through these hobbies he enjoyed creating beautiful knives and getting to know some very exceptional people. He will be remembered for his love of his family and his vibrant sense of humor. Donations to the Parkinson Research Foundation may be made in his name. The family will receive friends at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Avenue on Wednesday from 1-2 pm where a funeral service will be held at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
