Mr. Rodolfo Rodriguez's Obituary
RODRIGUEZ, Rodolfo, 80, of Tampa, FL passed away April 17, 2015. Rodolfo and his late wife Otilia were active longtime residents of West Tampa and were the original owners of El Carmelo Restaurant in the early 70's. Rodolfo was a well respected home builder and very devoted to St. Joseph Catholic Church, assisting the church with many building projects and remodeling through the years. Rodolfo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Otilia Rodriguez. Survivors include his sons, Rodolfo T. "Rudy" Rodriguez (Maruchi) and Rolando Rodriguez (Lisa), daughter, Teresa Rodriguez-Bennett (Chip), 8 grandchildren, Ebony, Lauren, Rolando, Jr., Erica, Antonio, David, Elena and Jorge, 3 great grandchildren, Noah, Connor and Caleb. Rodolfo's family would like to thank Dr. Ricardo Santayana and Dr. Eduardo Pascual for their care and friendship over the years. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. A Funeral Mass for the repose of Rodolfo's soul will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3012 W. Cherry St., Tampa, FL. Entombment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
