Roberta M. Castellani's Obituary
Roberta Marie Castellani, 83, of Tampa passed away on Thursday, March 14.
Roberta was born on July 13, 1935 to the late Leopold and Sarah Oberst in New York. Although she was mainly a homemaker, she did work a little bit as warehouse manager for Walden Books. Roberta had a strong Catholic faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister, providing her community with communion when they could not make it to Mass. She kept her love of community when she moved to Arbor Terrace. She was active with many of their groups and was even named "President of Residents," a title she wore very proudly. Roberta was an avid crafter that loved butterflies, quilting, sewing, and knitting.
Roberta is survived by her sons, Christopher Castellani and Joseph Castellani; daughters, Linda Gordon and Cynthia Castellani; grandchildren, Katie Gordon, Kelly Gordon, Kimmy Gordon, Jordan Castellani, and Samantha Castellani; and great-grandchild, Kingston.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Monday, March 18, 2019 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa. Entombment will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson.
