Mr. Robert M. Fernandez Jr.'s Obituary
FERNANDEZ, JR., Robert M., 58, lifelong resident and native of Tampa, born October 23, 1951 and passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert M. and Vicenta Longo Fernandez; grandparents, Jose and Laura Longo and Jose and Otilia Fernandez; cousin, Jason D. Brice. He is survived by his loving sister, Diana F. Kahler and husband Truman; niece, Valerie C. Busciglio and daughter Emerson A. Busciglio; cousins, Nirma (Phil) Perricone, Julie (Tom) Brice, Tom (Paula) Brice, Jr., Tom Brice, III., Mark Perricone, Steven Perricone, Drucy Diaz, Dr. Raymond J. Fernandez, Eddie Fernandez, Gail Hardin, Jim Cannella, Vilma Bean, Jeannette Thornton, Joseph Fernandez, Jim Fernandez. Robby, as he was known to family and friends, will be remembered as a loving son, brother and uncle, and a great fan of baseball. He was dedicated to his lifelong career in juvenile correction & rehabilitation, with a reputation for fairness to everyone. The family will receive friends for Visitation Thursday, July 29, 2010 between 1 and 2 PM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa. Services will begin at 2 PM Thursday, July 29th followed by Interment at Centro Asturiano Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Dan Pividal, Daniel A. Pividal, David Gonzalez, Mark Beiro, Albert Rodriguez, Allen Granda, Ronnie Pilcher, Charlie Spellman. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Truman E. Kahler, Dr. Phil Perricone, Thomas R. Brice, Tom Brice, Steven Perricone, Mark Perricone and his lunch buddies at El Gallo de Oro Restaurant in West Tampa... Ray Garcia, Brian McGinsey, Dr. Dennis Pupello, Dan Pividal, Armando Martinez, Ruben Blanco, Joe Maneli, Richard Noriega, Albert Picallo, Mark Beiro and Rex Rodriguez. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101, LifePath Hospice, Inc. and the Humane Society of Tampabay.
