Robert "Bobby" Billingsley's Obituary
BILLINGSLEY, Robert “Bobby”, 73 a lifelong Tampa resident passed away peacefully at home April 21, 2016. Bobby was born to the late William and Betty Billingsley on December 6, 1942. He had lived on the family homestead that had been in the family since 1917 located on Casey and Lowell Road until November 2015. It was there Bobby raised, housed, trained, and raced horses and cared for various types of animals; horses always being his most loved. He started working the rodeo and welding on weekends at the age of 16; and eventually became a member of Ironworkers Local 397. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy, Jr and sister Holly Ann. Bobby is survived by his daughters Jill Ann Perdue, Heather Spence (William), Deanna Coleman; grandchildren Morgan, Kasey, Elessa, Lynzie, Georgia; sister Rebecca Billingsley Docter, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Life Celebration will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa 33603.
