Richard Leo Daigler's Obituary
DAIGLER, Richard L.,, 70, passed away September 21, 2013. Mr. Daigler graduated from De Sales Catholic High School in Lockport, NY, in 1962. Mr. Daigler also graduated from Ft. Lauderdale University with a B. A. degree in Accounting. He was past president and educational vice president of Carrollwood Toastmasters Club. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tampa and Catechist Teacher for twenty years as well as a Eucharistic Minister. In retirement, he was an effective mathematics tutor of two children whom he was most proud of. He proudly served his country in the army during the Vietnam conflict. Mr. Daigler was preceded in death by his father, Richard Oliver Daigler, and brother, Dennis Daigler. He is survived by his mother, Mary Magin; sons: Joseph Leo, Richard Anthony (Dixie); granddaughter, Della; sister, Kathleen (Samuel) Schrift; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 27th, at 10:30 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 3012 W. Cherry Street, with interment to follow in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Tuition Fund, 2200 Gomez Ave, Tampa, Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, September 26th, from 6 pm to 8 pm, at the chapel of Boza & Roel, 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL.
