Randy Ray Pines' Obituary
Randy Ray Pines of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully in his childhood home on Friday, July 13, 2018. Randy was the beloved son to R. Randy and Margaret Barrios Pines.
Randy is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Raymond “Mongie” Pines and Rolando Barrios, and Grandmother, Elbia Barrios. He is survived by his sweet daughter, Amelia Rae, and his fiancée Amy Ashmore, his parents, R. Randy and Margaret B. Pines, his brother Ryan Ray Pines and his wife Julianne Demeter-Pines. He will be dearly missed by the matriarch of his family, Hazel J. Pines, his uncle Raymond R. Pines (Tracey), his aunt Gilda Pines, cousin Jocelyn Rae McKnight (Casey), and their daughters, Chandler Layne and Kaely Jocelyn McKnight (goddaughter) in addition to the many aunts, uncles, cousins from the Pines/Lindsey family.
He is survived by the Barrios/Fernandez family including Uncle Rafael (Nancy) Barrios, their children LeShan Barrios (Jason Zaffuto), Rafael “Macho” Barrios (Monica), uncle Tony Barrios (Xiomara) and the many aunts, uncles and cousins that had countless fond memories of their cousin Randy. He will be forever remembered by his godparents, Carla Bedami, and Nelson Antinori, and the Richardson family.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Tampa General Hospital and specifically to Nurse Rebecca, Hospice of Florida, and Father Curtis Carro of Christ the King Catholic Church.
A Catholic mass will be held in his honor on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 3012 W. Cherry Street, Tampa 33607. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at St. Joseph’s parish hall.
