William Anton
Rafael was an amazing person in so many ways. He was smart, humble, kind and filled with gratitude. We first me when he was helping us with developing a scheduling system at the USF Counseling Center. I liked and respected him immediately. As I got to know him it happened that my cousin Richard and his family helped him with housing after he left the oppressive government in Cuba. We developed a friendship and he encouraged me to join the Krewe of Sant Yago. It was a great move and we enjoyed many events with Rafael and Gloria, another wonderful human being.
Rafael, I know you are with the Lord and have made the transition to spiritual life. May God bless and keep you and your beloved family.
You are all in my prayers.
Love,
Bill Anton
