Rafael Rico Gonzalez's Obituary
GONZALEZ, Rafael Rico, 86, born in Havana, Cuba passed away May 27, 2017 in Tampa, FL. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War, and later became a naturalized US citizen. Rafael is preceded in death by wife Orchid and grandson Ian, siblings Jose Gonzalez
Angela Cochran, Lola Provenzano, and Armando Gonzalez. He is survived by daughters Cynthia Alfonso (Joe) and Carmen Gonzalez (Frank Seward), step daughters; Hope, Lana, Rosenda, grandchildren; Adriana and Jesse, 4 great grandchildren, and a large extended family. A visitation will be held 9 am with a funeral service at 10 am, Thursday, June 1 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. Interment will follow at Centro Español Memorial Park, Tampa. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Melech Hospice House.
