Phil Sr. was my father in law for over 16 years. Family was everything to him. He was always so good to us. He adored my children and his face would light up whether he was watching his namesakes ( PJ) baseball game or one of Julias many dance recitals or basketball games. My kids adored him as well. His son Phil is waiting for him, may be rest in peace. He will be missed.
Dear Yoli and Family, It was with great sadness Kenny and I learned of Philip’s passing. He was a man whose entire life was devoted to his family and, throughout the years that we have known him, we saw examples of this time after time. It seemed as though his greatest joy in life was the time that he spent with them! He was an exemplary husband to Yoli, a loving father to Phil and Jeff, and a doting grandfather to Peter, P.J., Julia and Natalie. He was also a wonderful son to Virginia and brother to Cecilia. All of your lives were enriched by him being a part of it! We are especially grateful for the incredible love he had for his grandchildren who, in turn, adored their Pop-Pop! We know that they will proudly carry a big part of him for the rest of their lives, for they greatly loved him! He has left a huge void in all of your lives, as well as in the lives of the many, many friends he had, and yet, in spite of that void, what he left in it’s place is far, far greater! He left you with the true meaning of LOVE that you will carry forever in your hearts! Kenny &Gerrieu
Phil Sr. was my father in law for over 16 years. He was a wonderful grandfather to my children. I always loved the way his face would light up whenever he laid eyes on my kids. He just adored them and they adored him. He did everything for his family. My kids will miss him terribly. My husband Phil, is waiting for him in heaven. Rest in peace Pop Pop.--Ashley Licata

Dear Yoli and family, the Mull family would like to offer our most sincere condolences to you and the family. Phil was a wonderful man and neighbor. He was always quick with a wave and a “ how’s the family!” I will miss our talks on the front porch and our talks of all things Ybor! I will miss my dear friend but I know he is now free of pain and resting with Jesus. God’s speed Phil and you will not be forgotten buddy. With Love and respect. Henry
