Peter R Radizeski Sr's Obituary
Pete Radizeski, 83, entered into eternal rest on May 4, 2025, in Tampa, FL. Mr. Radizeski was born in Shelton on June 4, 1941, son of the late Mary Radizeski. A resident of Ansonia for many years, he was employed by Proctor & Gamble for 20+ years until retirement. He married Sandra Murphy on July 4, 1963. They would have celebrated 62 years together in several weeks!
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed teaching his son and his great-grandson how to play. He was a successful Little League coach in Derby, CT for many seasons. He coached Biddy Basketball for a short while; a game he really enjoyed playing. He helped out with Cub Scouts as he was an Eagle Scout himself. He and his wife had just moved to Tampa after 80+ years of Connecticut weather.
Those who will miss him the most include his wife, Sandy, who he loved dearly; his sons – Peter Radizeski and his wife Margarett; and Mark Radizeski; his five grandchildren, James, Mark, Jessica, Melissa and Rachael, many of whom living with him over the years as his home was always open to people. He also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Emma, Anthony and Murphy, who he just had the pleasure of meeting. He is predeceased by a daughter, Kim.
According to his wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest in Tampa.
