Pedro Juan Rovellada's Obituary
ROVELLADA, Pedro, 83, of Tampa. Heaven received an angel on June 26, 2015. Pedro was born in Cuba and came to the U.S. in the late 1950’s to play baseball, which was his first true love. He lived and breathed baseball his entire life. Pedro is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Monty “ Eleanor” ; beloved children Michael (Kay) and Carrie Gutierrez (Arnulfo); his prized possessions- his grandchildren; Michelle (Shawn), Lena, Danielle, and Mikey; loving sisters Maggie and Mirta; nieces and extended family and friends. He retired as a Foreman from Villazon Cigar Co. after over 46 years of employment and 3 missed days of work. He was a kindhearted man who was loved by all and had a sense of humor which he enjoyed sharing with others. Above all, Pedro loved his family unconditionally. His love and spirit will remain with us forever. The family will receive friends 5:30pm-7:30pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 with a funeral service starting at 7:30pm at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
