Mr. Paul Ortelli's Obituary
ORTELLI, Paul, 78, of Lutz, FL passed away January 2, 2010. Mr. Ortelli was a loving father and grandfather. Mr.Ortelli was a retired police officer for the City of Tampa Police Department and served from 1957 to 1979. He was also an active member of the Optimist Club of Northwest Tampa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Helen Ortelli. He is survived by his children, Paul Ortelli, Jr. and wife Brenda, Tammie Laurito and husband Alex, Sherri Mizell and Jack Ortelli and wife Kim, grandchildren, Jordanne and Courtney Laurito, Jessica Ortelli, Stephanie Dangerfield and Shannen Ortelli, step grandchildren, Michael Martinez and Garrett Sharpless, two great grandchildren, brother, Martin Ortelli and wife Le Velle, close family, Elaine Fernandez and Deborah Wolfe and close friend Mary Hojara. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Ortelli's life will take place at 7PM on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL. The family will gather to receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Tampa Police Memorial Fund, 411 N. Franklin St., Tampa, FL 33602 or the Optimist Club of Northwest Tampa, 4306 W. Carmen St., Tampa, FL 33609 in Mr. Ortelli's memory. There will be a reception immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home.
