Paul D Ortelli Jr.'s Obituary
Ortelli, Jr Paul D, 58, passed away at home Monday, January 27th, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda, daughters Jessica Velez (Rey), Stephanie Dangerfield (Gary) and Shannen Walker (Derrick), stepsons Michael Martinez (Sara) and Garrett Sharpless (Ana), grandchildren Desmond, Austin, Rey Anthony, Gavin and Brynlee, step-grandchildren Brandon, Kiara, Araceli and Gloria, sibling Tammie Laurito (Alex), Aunts Elaine Fernandez and Debbie Wolfe (Jim), and his loving fur babies Boxer Mia, cats Sammy and Baby. Born August 17, 1961 and a lifelong resident of Tampa. After high school graduation, Paul worked for Tampa Skating Center, Coca-Cola and as a Truancy Officer. After a few years passed, he decided being self-employed was the direction to pursue. Going into the Bail Bond Industry, He opened Paul Ortelli Bail Bonds and was established 32 years. He was 30 years with the Tampa Rough Riders, was currently serving as a club officer to a non-profit organization for youth, Optimist Club of Northwest Tampa of 37 years, and club member to The Optimist Club of West Tampa for 5 years. Paul had great passion and love for his family, friends and for the caring of youth. His generous heart to family and friends along with his wonderful sense of humor will be cherished and missed. Paul and wife Brenda would like to give special thanks to Dr. Myers and Dr. Noor at St. Joseph Hospital, Dr. Palmer with Florida Urology Partners, and LifePath HospiceHouse for their weekly care. Paul was loved by many and is going to be greatly missed but never forgotten.
