Since I knew Mrs. Crocker when I was little as a 5th grader at Stephen Foster Elementary school with her beloved son Scott back in 1975 and I stayed with them at their house everyday after school and she made us a little picnic to get chocolate ice cream and cookies. Aw that was very sweet of her. Never forget her as long as I live. Missed her very much. 🙏💕
I was so heartbroken when I just read Norma's obituary – so, so sorry. I was going to send a Christmas card from my handicap daughter, Leigh, to Norma and Scotty and was looking up the address to see if it was still on Indiana Avenue. Leigh used to go with Scotty and we have remained friends throughout the years. Leigh and Scotty went to camp challenge together and we visited Norma & Scotty many times in Tampa. We moved to Ottawa Hills, Ohio in April of this year and Leigh is in a group home called Sunshine in Maumee, Ohio. Please tell Scotty we are thinking of him, as always. We will always remember Norma as a loving, caring, compassionate and fun person. She loved Scotty and Joey and his family with all her heart. To Norma's family, we send our condolences, prayers and love. She was a serial friend and will be missed. We had planned to go to the service but are still not well from our colds. Still coughing, runny noses and run down. Yesterday we spilled hoped to attend but this morning not so good. We did not want to spread this among our friends and family. God watch over you all during this sad time of saying our goodbyes. Remember the fun times and her great smile and love of life. Take care and God bless.

I always called her "Mrs. Crocker" in the office, but she always insisted "Norma." She was such a sweet and selfless woman. She was always so kind, patient and compassionate. Though I didn't have the honor of knowing her long, I knew her long enough to know what a caring and special person she was and how the world will be a more negative place without her in it!
