Nildo Yrene Naranjo's Obituary
Nildo Y Naranjo "Papa" beloved father, grandfather, and husband, passed away peacefully on June 4th in Tampa, Fl. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Mercedes G Naranjo "Nana".
Nildo was born in Matanzas, Cuba and emigrated to Tampa,Fl. He proudly served in the United States Army for seven years with distinction. First stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs and then in the Army Reserves attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He returned to Tampa to build a life for his family, receiving his degrees in Accounting and Business Administration alongside a career in the United States Postal Service that spanned 35 years achieving the level of Postmaster.
Nildo loved his family, the beach, and good meals. He was an avid fan of the Rays baseball team and enjoyed watching his favorite quiz shows Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune always testing his knowledge.
He lived a full life. He is loved by his children, grandchildren, daughters in law, nieces, and nephews. We know that you are at peace now and joining Momma. Daddy Thank You for the examples you set and the foundation you and Momma created to make this family what it is today.
You will always be in our hearts. We love you Dad.
