When I was working at Cardio Command, I met Zenny Delgado, and we became friends from that moment on. I often visited her home without even telling her beforehand, and her mother, Nilda Delgado, always welcomed me with warmth and kindness. She treated me like one of her own daughters, and I will never forget how loved and comfortable I felt in their home.
Over the years, I witnessed the incredible love and dedication Zenny had for her mother. She cared for her day and night while still working hard herself. I remember seeing her sleep beside her mother’s bed on a tiny mattress, always making sure her mom was never alone. She gave everything she had — changing diapers, feeding her, comforting her, and loving her with all her heart. It was a kind of love and sacrifice that truly touched me deeply.
Although my heart is saddened by Nilda’s passing, I also feel peace knowing that she is no longer suffering and is now resting in a better place. She raised a daughter with a beautiful heart, and that speaks so much about the kind of mother and person she was.
Nilda will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and loving spirit. My prayers and deepest condolences are with Zenny and her family during this difficult time.
