Nila J. Quintas' Obituary
Nila passed peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo Jose Quintas; son, Jose B. Quintas; and parents, Celestino & Nila Alvarez.
She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She courageously left her native Cuba following the revolution to start a new life in Tampa. She worked hard, along with her family, and overcame many hardships and succeeded in creating a loving home for her family, and the many children she took care of for over 40+ years. Nila was a selfless woman, who loved deeply and helped everyone.
She is survived by her son, Jorge M. Quintas (wife: Vanessa), Dunedin, FL; daughter-in-law, Terri P. Quintas, Brandon; granddaughter, Tatiana Quintas, Panama City, FL; grandsons, Joseph Quintas, Tampa; and Daniel Quintas (wife: Erised), Atlanta, GA; great-grandsons: Benicio & Mateo Quintas, Atlanta, GA; as well as many loving cousins in Tampa and Spain.
Rest in peace dear Nila; you will be missed by all but never forgotten.
