LIGORI, Nelson G., Sr., 88, of Tampa passed away Oct. 9, 2014. Mr. Ligori was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Navy and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Ligori. Survivors include his son Read Obituary
I remember when Nelson's dog Sassy jumped in the river. The buildings at Marina Club were being painted and the painters saw Nelson ready to jump in after Sassy. The painters held him back, jumped in and saved the day. It was about a 6 foot drop into the water and Nelson was about 82 at the time. Never lost his spunk.
May your journey with God be a blessing we all look forward to in our late elder years of life on earth. You made beautiful children and they will carrying on the " Italian family tradition" sir and continue to make you proud. Dear God Thank you for allowing Mr. Ligori to give so much to the earth. His children know he is with you God. Please let them find peace in knowing their father is with our Heavenly Father. Praise you God. Amen. God bless you Dina & family.
