Neal H. Manley's Obituary
Neal H. Manley
March 10, 1940 - March 3, 2021
Manley, Neal H. passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 80.
He is survived by his wife, Alexandra; his two daughters Amy Sanchez (Nilo Jr.) and Stacey Paskowski (Joe); and his three grandchildren Nilo Sanchez III, Dylan Sanchez and Brad Sanchez, all whom adored him.
Neal and Alex lived in many places over the years, but have called Tampa, FL home for 52 years. Neal served in the Florida National Guard and was employed by Automatic Electric, Pratt and Whitney, Stromberg-Carlson and GTE Corp. from which he retired after 27 years. He loved the outdoors, traveling and especially spending time with family and friends and will always be remembered for his kind spirit and sweet smile. He was a long-time member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family would be thankful if donations in Neal’s memory are made to Metropolitan Ministries 2002 N. Florida Avenue Tampa, FL 33602 (www.metromin.org).
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
-The Prayer of St. Francis
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
