Nancy Anne Simpson's Obituary
Nancy Anne (Kmetz) Simpson, 91, of Tampa, passed away on September 19, 2021.
She will join her husband, D.R. Simpson (Lt. Col. USMC Ret), at Arlington National Cemetery
Nancy is survived by her daughter Carolyn A, Simpson (Leon Niles) and Teller; her son Tad Simpson (Sue); her two grandsons Jake Simpson, (Carolyn B.) and Gus Simpson; and two great grandchildren.
She grew up in Streator, Illinois where she studied piano and ballet, then attended the University of Iowa.
After marriage she traveled the country as a military wife. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her happiest hours were spent fishing with her grandsons and caring for her beloved pets. She always donated to her favorite animal welfare charities.
There will be no local service, so in lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or your favorite local animal shelter.
