Nancy I Brennan's Obituary
BRENNAN, Nancy 93, passed away on January 3, 2023. Nancy was born in Tampa, FL and graduated from Hillsborough High School. She was raised by her maternal grandparents after losing her mother, whom she loved very much, at a young age. She grew up working in Charlie's Market, which her grandparents owned. After graduating from high school, she worked for the Merchant’s Credit Bureau, Tampa Terrace Hotel floral & gift shop, and Peninsular Telephone Company (for 5 years). During her working years she enjoyed her membership and position of recording secretary with Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She then met the man of her dreams, Michael R. Brennan Sr. They married and had 4 beautiful children. After her first child was born, Nancy began her much loved vocation of being a full-time mom, wife, and homemaker. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and home very much. She was not only a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, but a loyal and true friend to her entire family. After her husband passed away, she worked for Maison Blanche in the china department which was a natural fit for her. She enjoyed helping customers pick out their china, crystal, and silverware. She was a devout Catholic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Manali) Ippolito; husband, Michael R. Brennan Sr.; siblings, Mary Vondruska, Frank Ippolito, and Lena Ferris. Her sister, Frances Worden passed away 2 days after she did on January 5, 2023. She is survived by daughters Cathy Blanco (Michael), Mary Holcombe (Dan); sons Michael Brennan (Elizabeth), Mark Brennan (Rachel); grandchildren, Mandi Brennan, Melinda Smith (Mark), Nathan Brennan (Gabby), Julianne Holcombe, Carolyn Blanco, Alyssa and Angelica Brennan; and great grandsons Zaidan, Mason, Luke, Jaxon, and Oliver. She will be greatly missed. A visitation/celebration of life will be held on Monday January 16, 2023 from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 16, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 10110 N. Central Ave, Tampa, FL 33612, with Rite of Committal to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in memory of Nancy Brennan may be made to the charity of your choice.
