Myrle Leto's Obituary
Myrle (Darville) Leto, 91, of Tampa, FL, passed away peacefully at home on December 7, 2024. She was born on April 19, 1933, in Tampa, FL, to Walter Darville Sr. and Eva Darville.
On June 17, 1951, Myrle married the love of her life, Domenic Leto, and together they built a beautiful family and life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Myrle worked as a pharmacy technician at Centro Español Hospital in Tampa for an incredible 37 years, where she was known for her dedication and compassion.
Myrle is survived by her three daughters: Donna Hawley, Nancy Hines, and Sandy Mortellaro; grandchildren Samantha Valdez, Paul Poffenbaugh, Amy Schenker, Jonathan Poffenbaugh, Adam Hines, Stephanie Koons, and Stacy Simmons; and 12 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Domenic Leto, her brothers Walter Darville Jr. and William Darville, and her sister Gladys (Darville) Jeske.
Myrle will be remembered as a woman of strength, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family and community. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.

A viewing will be held to celebrate Myrle’s remarkable life at Boza and Roel Funeral Home (4730 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33603-2620) on Friday, December 13,2024 from 4pm to 6pm with a short service to follow at 6pm. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
