Morris Pullara Jr.'s Obituary
Morris Pullara , Jr., passed away on May 22, 2021, at Tampa General Hospital. He was 77 years old. A native Floridian, Morris graduated from Plant City High School, the University of Florida with a BSME and later a JD, followed by an LLM in Government Procurement Law from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He worked in both the private and public sectors, with the majority of his career working in Washington. He retired as Vice Chairman of the Board of Contract Appeals of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Over Judge Pullara's lifetime he and his wife lived in Georgia, California, Greece, DC, Louisiana and Florida and made treasured friends in all those places. If asked of those friends what they most remember of him, most would say his sense of humor, love of life and learning, and his loyalty and commitment to family and friends.
Morris leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Marion Forrester Pullara; sisters-and-brothers-in-law Alice and Ralph Lewis; Debra and Hugh Tummond; and Dolly Forrester, widow of John Forrester; and much loved nieces and nephews. He will be so very missed and forever held in their memory.
