Bilella, Mike's Obituary
Mike Bilella, 98, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026.
Mike lived a long and meaningful life devoted to his family, his work, and his community. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he served his country during the Korean War with honor and dedication.
Throughout his career, Mike was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to quality. In his early years, he owned and operated Mike Bilella Floorcovering Co. and
The Shutterbug. He eventually retired from Golden Triangle Film Lab, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of colleagues. Even in retirement, Mike continued pursuing his passion for preserving memories through his business, Mike Bilella Worldwide Video and DVD. Through this work, he helped families convert treasured films and videos for future generations.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Rena Bilella; his daughters, Lisa Di Norcia and Dena Bilella; and his cherished grandson, Christopher Di Norcia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppe Bilella and Francesca Innamorato Bilella, and by his sister, Filomena “Phyllis” Bilella Mungiovi.
Mike will be remembered for his dedication to family, his entrepreneurial spirit, his service to his country, and the kindness and integrity with which he lived his life. His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched and, in the memories, shared by those who loved him.
Inurnment will take place at L'Unione Italiana Cemetery in Tampa, Florida.
