Michael Anthony Marteli's Obituary
On Sunday, March 4, 2018, God called Michael Marteli home. Michael was 51 and a lifelong resident of Tampa. He is survived by his father and mother Richard Sr. and Grace Marteli, his brother Richard Marteli Jr. and sister Rosalia Marteli. He loved his family, friends, traveling and animals. Michael had a heart of gold, so loving and kind, he will be greatly missed everyday by many family and friends who loved him always, only till we meet again. Our only comfort comes from knowing that you are with God. The moment you took his hand healed the ache in your body and heart. And so many people with you AG, UB, NA, NO, AJ, GF, GM, AW, AWO, K, B, R, N, UJ, U, US………Michael worked in healthcare for over 30 years. And in the last several years chose to help many people and families with end of life transition. Drawing on his education in the field and his own experiences as a patient himself to care for them in his compassionate way. He received many letters of acknowledgment and heartfelt thanks from the families that meant so much to him. Catholic Funeral services for Michael will be held Friday March 9, 2018 at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 3012 W. Cherry Street Tampa, FL 33607 with burial to follow at Garden of Memories 4207 E. Lake Avenue Tampa, FL 33610. Pallbearers; Martin Eastburn, Steve Smiley, Louis Villarosa, Tino Pierola, Victor Maldonado, David, Glen, Gabriel Diaz, Lenny Ferrera, Robert Marteli.
