Mr. Michael A. Foy Sr.'s Obituary
FOY, Michael A., Sr., 78, of Tampa passed away Dec. 20, 2009 after a short illness. He retired from the City of Tampa Fire Dept. after 21 years of service. He then became owner and operator of Nutone Foy's Service Center for 28 years before retiring again. He was a member of the Retired Firefighter's Association, Sons of Italy Mona Lisa Lodge #2699 and the Culture Club. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Marietta, son, Michael, Jr. (Darlene), daughter, Donna Sell (Chris), brothers, Thomas (Lorraine) and Joseph, sister, Marie Hart, grandsons, Tommy Sell, Michael III and William Foy, brother-in-law, Vincent L. Nuccio (Gloria) and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10AM to 12 PM on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL where a funeral service will take place at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will accept flowers or in lieu of, you may make a contribution to your favorite charity in his name.
