Mary L Santafemia's Obituary
Mary Santafemia, 85 of Tampa, Florida, died peacefully in her home Sunday, April 25, 2021. She is the daughter of Filippo Maurici Lino and Mary Salvato. She was born in Tampa, living originally in Ybor City and later in West Tampa. She married the love of her life, Frank Santafemia in 1956 and they spent 59 loving years together. She worked as a secretary for the Division of Blind Services and dedicated many years to this organization. She was an avid cook and loved creating a home that provided memories for multiple generations. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank and is survived by son, Frank Santafemia (Audrey), granddaughter, Ciara Cook (Jaime) and great grandsons, Bennie and Jacob, granddaughter, Capri Santafemia, granddaughter, Giana Santafemia (Chris) and great granddaughters, Bella and Callie; son, Mark Santafemia (Caridad); daughter, Sheila Santafemia (Anna) and grandson, Eli; sister, Pauline Taormina and nephew, Victor Taormina (Cece), all of Tampa, Florida. A private service will be held at Boza & Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave. Tampa, FL 33603 with interment following at L’Unione Italiana Cemetery.
