IAVARONE, Mary Anello
82 of Tampa, Florida passed away peacefully Saturday, December 12, 2020. She grew up in Palmetto Beach, located just south of Historic Ybor City. She attended Jefferson High School and went on to graduate from the University of Tampa with a degree in Education. She retired from Mendenhall Elementary School after 33 years. She was the matriarch of Carmine's Restaurant on Seventh Avenue. Mary was a devoted catholic and a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She loved Sunday pasta dinners with her family and sunsets on the beach. Mary was the loving wife of the late Eugene C. Iavarone. Siblings include the late Vito Anello and wife Delia, Katie Russo and husband Morris and survivor, Nelson Anello and wife Linda. Survivors include sons Carmine, wife Sharon and Gino; three grandchildren, Eve, Ivana, Rocco; two step grandchildren, Danielle, Melissa and husband Scott and one great granddaughter, Lilliana; brother and sister in laws; goddaughters and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, greats nephews and many loving friends. A private mass was held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Donations may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Love you mom!
