Mark Charles Wujastyk's Obituary
Mark Charles Wujastyk, age 70, of Tampa passed away August 4, 2025,
after a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
Mark was born in Harvey, IL, (suburb of Chicago) and moved to Winter
Haven, Florida in 1967. He spent the rest of his adult life in the Tampa
area, after graduating from Florida State University (FSU) in 1978 with a
bachelor degree. Mark was employed in the commercial laundry equipment
industry for most of his working life and retired with Hicks Laundry
Equipment Corporation. He liked to walk, read, and listen to Elton John. He also liked to watch football in his spare time.
Mark was pre-deceased by his parents Jerome Francis Wujastyk (2005)
and Barbara Melkent Wujastyk (2020). He is survived by his wife Terry
Fernandez Wujastyk after 34 years of marriage, brother Jim (Susan) of
Longwood, FL, brother David of Denver, CO, sister Barbara (Michael)
Danagher of Winter Park, FL, and sister Susan Wujastyk of Winter Park, FL. Mark is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
