Marian Louise Crowder Suttles, 91, from Birmingham, AL passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 in Tampa, FL.
Marian graduated from Howard College (Samford) with a focus in Economics. She had a love for education and dedicated her profession to teaching Social Studies for 43 and a half years. She spent 35 of those years at Greco Middle School (Junior High).
Marian loved spending time with family, but most of all cherished creating memories and sharing adventures with her honey, Peter Ciccarello whom she had been with for 60 years. They enjoyed their time together traveling the world, whether it was just the two of them, with family or friends. They were a dynamic duo who have always enjoyed exploring and experiencing life to the fullest. From the east coast to the west, by land, air or sea, from mom & pops to Michelin Star, galas to local fairs, there was never a dull moment. Some of her favorite activities included dancing at the Italian Club, Sunday brunch at Tampa Bay Downs, cheering on the Buccaneers, attending Ole Miss football games and family holiday gatherings.
Marian was a ray of sunshine who was truly selfless and devoted herself to love.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clyde Crowder and daughter Cynthia Lee George.
She is survived by the love of her life, Peter Ciccarello ; grandson, Peter Kinner and wife Ana Kinner; granddaughter, Ashley Sellers, and an extended group of family and friends that loved her dearly.
