Marian Ferraro Belluccia's Obituary
Marian Ferraro Belluccia, age 92 of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on July 13, 2019.
Born in Tampa, Marian worked as a school teacher in Tampa, then Gardena, California for over 40 years. She helped families from other countries to navigate the educational system and utilize their talents to better the school system and help students reach their true potential.
Traveling, gardening, sewing, and spending time with family and friends were activities she enjoyed. We will always remember her as the life of the party and thoughtful. She was devoted to God and her family, bringing joy to all who came in contact with her.
Marian was dearly loved by her son, John Belluccia, grandson Daryl Belluccia and his wife, Aisha, great granddaughters, Irie and Haile, Granddaughter, Amy Curtner and her husband Carl, great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew, and Carina. With special thanks and love to Odel McGriff, Jenny and Lorenzo Belluccia, Desi and Mike Davis, and Ruth Tymich.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Belluccia, her sister, Jennie Wimbish, and brother Paul Ferraro.
All services will be on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Visitation will be held at Boza & Roel Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 am. A church service will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church from 11:30 to 12:30, Entombment will be at 1:30 pm at Myrtle Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life reception honoring her “Marian Style” at John Belluccia’s residence from 3:30-6:30 pm.
