Maria M. Marrero's Obituary
Maria Marrero, age 70, went to be with the Lord in the early morning of June 29th, 2021. Maria was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on February 15, 1951 to Librada and Ramon Vazquez. Maria is survived by her husband of 33 years, Edwin Marrero; sister, Augustina Castro and brother, Hector Vazquez. Maria was also survived by her children Elizabeth Failey and wife Anette; Ivette Chilsom and husband Lewis; David Failey and wife Bericia; Jeannet Marrero and husband Victor; and her niece Jennifer Kaymore and husband Marvin. Maria had 6 grandchildren, Ivelisse, Layla, Janessa, Adelyn, Antonio, and Michael. She had many nieces and nephews that were like her own children. She is preceded in death by 3 angel grandbabies, Eilish, Emary, and Noah.
Maria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She was extremely supportive, kind and loving to all that knew her and strangers alike. Her life was a living example of being a follower of Christ. She enjoyed dancing and creating fun memories with family. Maria will leave behind a legacy of love, devotion to family, and faith.
