Ms, Maria Del Carmen Fernandez Redondo's Obituary
Maria del Carmen Fernandez Redondo, born in Cuba June 25, 1915 to Juan and Francisca, passed away May 14, 2007. She was the first pupil of Spanish nuns in their school and profoundly devoted to the Catholic church and to her family. A legal secretary, she also worked for the Embassy of Uruguay in Cuba, arriving in Tampa in 1974. She is survived by her only niece, Dr. Maria Elena Godoy vda. de Fernandez, great nieces; Dr. Alina C. Fernandez, Jeannette H. Galvin, Leticia F. Bach and husband John R. Bach. Great great nieces; Elizabeth Marie and Katherine Ann Bach and Alexandra Carmen Fernandez. Cousins Martha Menendez vda. de Melian of Madrid, Spain, and Jorge Fernandez Baujin, and family of Connecticut, and classmate and lifelong best friend Moraima Suarez vda. de Fernandez and family of Dallas, Texas. Jose Antonio Fernandez Alvarez and family of Tampa. The family wishes to thank LifePath Hospice and Dr. Raul Sierra.
