I can't believe my mother is gone. She was always so strong and I always felt safe with her. She was my cheerleader in life, my champion whenever I was hurt, my advisor when I needed advice and my confidant. I could tell her anything and she would guide me along the way. We had similar taste in clothing, music, movies and musicals. She always said I was a forties kid. She was incredibly generous and funny leaving me with many tales of her escapades. She truly was my best friend and I am going to miss her terribly. Love you always mama!

When I was little I always thought grandma was a super sleuth. She always knew the bad guy in every Scooby Doo and she always guessed the end of whichever Nancy Drew I was reading. I was 15 before I realized I was watching reruns and she read the books before me. She always let me sing along to the many Disney tapes she bought just for us grandkids. She used to have us feed the birds and squirrels in her yard. She gave me my love for mysteries, musicals and animals. I will miss her arguing with my oldest over the tv, I will miss her smiling at my youngest, I will miss her giggle when you tickled her neck. I will miss you grandma, everyday, until I see you again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how really hard it is to lose a mother. I remember when Tia carried me all the way to a little shop, because I sprained my ankle and she wanted to get me an outfit. It was a long walk, but she was a strong, beautiful woman. I loved the outfit so much! I still remember the smell of the shop, as they were burning incense. She was always kind to me and I loved her dearly. I will really miss seeing those blue eyes. I know she is happy and free now with all our family. Until we meet again Tia. I love you <3
