Malanie Jolicoeur's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Malanie Cuesta Jolicoeur, age 59 on May 29th, 2026.
Malanie was born in Tampa, Fl on July 7th, 1966. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and then graduated from Tampa Catholic with honors in 1984. After high school graduation, she attended USF for 2 years (although her real true love was the University of Florida). She spent her working career in the insurance industry.
Malanie was such a happy go lucky person, always smiling and laughing, and often thought of others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and especially her cats. She had a love for all music, she loved to garden, she really loved to shop and enjoyed going to the beach. She was an avid fan of sports with an emphasis on football and hockey. Her favorite teams were the Florida Gators, Washington Commanders, Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Malanie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 18 years, Jared Jolicoeur, and also her loving father Gilbert Cuesta. She is survived by her Best Friend/Mother Mary Ellen Parra and stepfather Dennis, her sister Belinda Leto and husband Michael, her 2 nephews who she was so proud of, Brennan Baker and Jason Leto and her 5 precious cats.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, located at 4730 N. Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL. 33603. The Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th, 2026, from 6 - 9pm, with a service beginning at 7:15pm.
