Mrs. Luisa F. Reyes' Obituary
REYES, Luisa F., 99 of Tampa passed away on December 9, 2007. She was born in Oviedo Spain and came to Tampa at 14 months of age. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Alberto Reyes. She retired from the Hillsborough County Hospital as a pharmacy assistant. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Reyes and his wife Pat; two grandchildren, Julie Reyes, David Reyes (Jill); one sister, Argentina Jimenez ( Albert); a sister in law, Adelfa Reyes; one niece and nephew, Susana Schneiderman and Jim Jimenez; 5 great nieces, Hope Garcia, Darcey Fernandez, Alissa Jimenez, Wendy Perlman, Michele Rivera and 2 great nephews, Don Fernandez and Steve Fernandez. From the age of 14 months she spent all of her life in the Tampa area. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Nuova Sicilian Lodge # 1251 for a major portion of her latter years with her early years being active with the Centro Asturiano Club. Her pleasure was being with people. For those that knew her she was always spirited and witty until the very end. She touched many in her 99 years and will be greatly missed. May she always be remembered with fond memories. The family will receive friends at the Boza & Roel funeral home at 4730 N Armenia Avenue on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Centro Asturiano Cemetery. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and suggest contributions to the charity of your choice.
