Luis "Polo" Miranda-Matos' Obituary
MIRANDA-MATOS, Luis, 83, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2016. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Marcos Miranda and Juana Matos on December 25, 1932. He had a career in the construction industry and he also held the title of Union Representative for Local 97 Teamsters Union. He was preceded in death by his son in law Hector Manuel Miranda and son Louis Anthony Miranda. He is survived by Felipa, his loving and devoted wife, daughters; Rose Mary Miranda and Susan Miranda-Barbosa (Luis), grandchildren; Xiomara Miranda-Delgado (Angel), Kevin Chaparro, and Kaylin Barbosa, great granddaughters Naidene and Charlize Perez, siblings; Francisco Miranda (Ida), Nalda Rivera (Geo), and Mildred Miranda, extended family and friends. A visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 North Armenia Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33603. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
