My heart goes out to all of you! She was a special lady!!
When I was 10 years old, Aunt Lucy took me to a radio station because she heard me sing and wanted me to be a singer. The song for the audition was "La Cucaraca". Yes, that was the song she wanted me to sing. We went to the radio station where I was totally scared to death. Needless to say, I didn't perform. She wasn't mad because I really didn't have enough training. Still worked with me to sing songs until she was older and had other interests. Will always remember that time in my life and because of her, I did continue singing and dancing. Not professional but as guest appearance only. She was and will always be a special person in my memory. Rest now sweet lady. Your niece, Carlotta
