Lidia G. Fragoso's Obituary
On the 1st day of September, in 1936, an Ester was born for such a time as this (Esther 4:14.)
Lidia Ester González Fragoso was born to Antonio and Ramira Gonzalez.
Her love and nurture of others was evident from her childhood. Even as a young girl she cared for her brothers and cousins.
Soon after graduating high school, she met the love of her life. Through life’s peaks and valleys, in sickness and in health, she remained committed to her marriage vows for 52 years, until her beloved Nestor went to be with the Lord in 2008.
Her love and worship for the Lord was manifested through 30 years of volunteering in a Sunday Service at a Nursing Home, to the Casa Misionera and also as a Chaplain.
However, her true mission and what made her a shining star is best described in Proverbs 31; 15-20. She always arose before dawn to pray, always was very generous towards her family and those in need. She was not afraid to work hard, and she excelled at managing her household. She also extended her hand to the poor; therefore, her children rise up and call her Blessed.
Her family was her greatest love and joy. She leaves behind her dear daughters Sylvia, Maggie and Melisa and their husbands Israel, Elliot, and George. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Yarei, Josue, Monica, George Jr and Samuel and great grandchildren Elias, Selah, Annalise, Jubilee, David, Noah, Johanna, Sarabeth, Danny, Nikita, Judah, Grace, Zion, Zara, Zeal, Glory and Joy Josiah. She also leaves her dear brother Falo.
Lidia Ester will be missed in this world, yet her prayers, love and encouragement of others will remain in the hearts and memories of all the people she touched.
Her family celebrates her life and believes she is very much alive in the presence of Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that she is looking right into His Eyes.
“I am My Beloved's and My Beloved is Mine. “. Song of Solomon 6:3
