Ledia E. Mendez's Obituary
Mendez, Ledia E., 94, of Tampa, FL passed away Feb. 27, 2016. Ledia was a native of Bejucal, Havana, Cuba. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ovidio Mendez, sons, Ovidio Mendez, MD and Ramon Mendez, grandson, Ovidio Mendez, Jr., sister, Margot Nadal and sister-in-law, Maria T. Diaz. Survivors include her daughter, Rosa Maria Couret and husband Jose, grandchildren, Jose Ramon Couret and wife Mandy, Lissette Maria Perera and husband Gilberto Jesus, Ricardo Nilo Couret and wife Laura, six great grandchildren, Jose Daniel and Gabriella Frances, Bella Rosa and Gilberto Jesus Perera, Alejandro Ricardo and Ricardo Javier Couret, brother-in-law, Pedro Diaz, grandchildren, Edward, Daniel, Mario Luis and Carmen Dulce Mendez. A Funeral Mass for the repose of Ledia's soul will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM to 11 AM at the church prior to the Mass. Interment will follow in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
