Laura was a awesome individual - lovable, always had a smile, was kind and friendly, always helpful, easy going, and non-judgmental. She will be remembered as both a great mother and grandmother, but she was also the best mother-in-law a man could ask for! No doubt there is grief at her passing and that she will be missed, but take to heart that she is in a better place.
I’m so sorry to learn that my lifelong friend, Laura has passed. She is finally no longer in pain and discomfort. I will always cherish our friendship. Kathy, Ashley my sincere sympathies. Kathy you were her constant caregiver til her last breath.
She hung on as long as she could, Kathy, mostly due to the care you
gave her til her last breath.

My deepest condolences to the family I cleaned Mrs Laura little apartment for years and she was the sweetest lady I know.May the Lord Lord bless her soul. She will be missed.
My memories of Laura, were when I first met her at Lucy’s Fancy Hair Salon about 40 years ago. I always thought she was a stylish beautiful lady, who would make me laugh with her funny Spanglish anecdotes sayings. She was smart, independent and quick witted, until her last days.

We came and we went from Laura’s house on W Abdella St…Kathy and me…Laura was sweet and kind and I can still hear that voice. We corresponded for years when I moved away. I can still see her beautiful handwriting. Rest in Peace, Laura. My sympathy to Kathy and Ashley.
