Larry Lumpee's Obituary
Larry Lumpee, 71 of Lutz, passed away unexpectedly April 5, 2018. He was born August 27, 1946 to Paul and Irene Lumpee in Brunswick, GA. He graduated from Jesuit High School in Tampa, FL and St Leo University in Dade City, FL. Larry enjoyed a long and distinguished carrier with the State of Florida Juvenile Justice system.
Larry enjoyed spending time working on his classic Ford Mustangs, playing softball, and weekly happy hour with his friends from High School & College.
He loved spending time with family, especially at his cabin & property in Murphy, NC.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Cynthia Zambito Lumpee; daughters Nicole Presson and her husband Jeff, Kim Paulk and her husband Jeff; grandchildren: Jared and Maddie Presson, John and Jackson Paulk; Sister Sandy Johnson and brother- in-law Al; Brother Steve and sister-in-law Denise; and many loved ones.
Funeral services to honor Larry will take place on Saturday, April 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 15520 N. Blvd., Tampa, FL. The family invites everyone to join them for a celebration of life immediately to follow at Heritage Harbor, Golf and Country Club, 19502 Heritage Harbor Parkway, Lutz, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ACTS, the Agency for Community Treatment Services, Inc.
