Drury, Larry L's Obituary
Larry Lonnie Drury Jr. of Riverview, Florida, passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on May 27, 1966, Lonnie lived a life defined by laughter, kindness, friendship, and an unwavering love for his family.
Lonnie was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his loving heart, and his gentlemanly nature. He truly never met a stranger and with his unique gift of quick wit, a generous spirit and an infectious smile he made everyone feel welcome. A friend to all who knew him, Lonnie built lasting relationships wherever he went and touched countless lives with his warmth and generosity.
A proud graduate of King High School, Lonnie dedicated 33 years of service to CSX, where he earned the respect and admiration of his coworkers through his hard work and commitment.
Above all else, Lonnie cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karrie Drury, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. He also leaves behind his cherished children, Kayla Drury Fain, Kyle McGuire, and Kody McGuire, who were the pride and joy of his life. Lonnie was a devoted grandfather to Wyatt, Ella, Jackson, Jensen, and Jesse, each of whom brought him immeasurable happiness and countless reasons to smile.
Lonnie is also survived by his father, Larry Drury Sr., His step mother Rose Drury, his sister, Candy Keels; and his brothers, Rick Drury, Johnny Drury and Donnie Vincent and proceeded in death by his mother, Dorothy Neill. He leaves behind many extended family members, lifelong friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
In his free time, Lonnie was passionate about Mustangs and bowling. Whether talking cars, spending time at the bowling alley, or gathering with family and friends, he embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed every opportunity to create lasting memories.
Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, compassion, and unwavering devotion to those he cared about will never be forgotten.
Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always with us.
